Mrs. Ambika Savitry is a seasoned development professional with over 34 years of diverse experience across NGOs, government agencies, and corporate sector. Her journey is marked by unique blend of grassroots involvement and strategic leadership, with a steadfast commitment to empowering marginalized communities and driving systemic change.
With core expertise in capacity building, monitoring & evaluation, research, advocacy, project implementation, and resource mobilization, she has consistently demonstrated leadership in health; sanitation, human rights, tribal development, and gender justice. Known for integrating creative methods like art, play, and games into learning, she brings innovation and inclusivity into all her initiatives.
A postgraduate in Sociology, she has also completed certification courses in Journalism, Micro-enterprises, and Counselling. Current Focus Since 2014, she has been independently collaborating with NGOs, CSR initiatives, and international resource groups, leading training programs, evaluations, proposal development, and mentorship—particularly in child rights, legal literacy, adolescent development, and education.
