Suma recently joined Sanrakshan as Program Director, she brings over four years of rich experience in leading impactful projects and research initiatives. With strong expertise in project management, epidemiological research, and evidence-based health interventions, she has worked across domains such as CPHC, NCDs, Anemia, and RMNCH+A. She has successfully led end-to-end studies, secured competitive grants, and turned data into actionable strategies that promote health equity and inclusive development. Suma is highly skilled in stakeholder engagement, having built strong partnerships across sectors to drive systems-level change and influence policy. Deeply committed to child rights and education, she believes in creating nurturing environments that support children’s health, learning, and holistic development. At Sanrakshan, she is focused on driving meaningful change through strategic program leadership, collaborative action, and data-driven solutions—ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive.

Mr. Abbutalha serves as the Accounts Manager at Sanrakshan, where he leads the Finance and Compliance functions with a strong commitment to accuracy, transparency, and regulatory adherence. Since joining the organization in 2023, he has played a pivotal role in streamlining financial operations, enhancing compliance frameworks, and ensuring robust financial governance. His analytical approach, coupled with a keen eye for detail, supports the organization’s mission through sound financial stewardship and strategic compliance management. Mr. Abbutalha holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management (BBM) and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA), further strengthening his expertise in financial and managerial practice

Ravikumari is a passionate social worker with over nine years of experience, including more than three years of dedicated service at Sanrakshan. Since joining in 2022, she has taken on various roles, consistently working to ensure the safety, well-being, and development of children in vulnerable situations. She currently leads the Sanrakshan Rainbow Home. Holding an M.A. and B.Ed., Ravikumari brings prior experience as a teacher with the Save the Children project at BOSCO. She possesses strong expertise in early childhood care, counselling, project coordination, and child advocacy. Her work is driven by a deep commitment to building nurturing environments where every child has the opportunity to prosper.

Rajesh B. holds a Bachelor of Education degree from BGS College of Education. He currently serves as the Project-in-Charge at Sankalpa Makkala Dhama Boys Home. With a deep passion for the holistic development of children, Rajesh is committed to nurturing their health, education, life skills, and extracurricular talents. He brings a special focus on embedding 21st-century learning skills and interactive, play-based methods into everyday education, helping children build confidence and prepare for competitive examinations. Rajesh finds great meaning in his work at Sanrakshan, where his personal philosophy inspires his approach:  “Live like a butterfly. Take the best without destroying or hurting anybody, but giving pleasure to everyone.”  

Chaithra holds a Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) with a specialization in Medical and Psychiatric Social Work from Bangalore City University. She is working as a Mental Health Counsellor and brings over two years of experience in counselling and client care. Chaithra specializes in supporting the mental and emotional well-being of children and adolescents, with a focus on creating safe, nurturing spaces that promote healing and resilience. Passionate about mental health equity, research, and community well-being, she also actively contributes to research initiatives to enhance the understanding of child and adolescent mental health issues. Her core strengths include individual counselling, emotional support, and empowering young minds to flourish.
